Snowflakes but not Christmas

Hi All,
Welcome to my blog for the VCMP with OWH!  My card theme is Snowflakes but not Christmas.

I have posted 2 cards, because what would my blog be without a Whipper involved.  My first card is my original sample card.  I used Little Yellow Bicycle patterned papers and distressed the edges.  The snowflake ribbon I had in my stash.  I used a Nestie to frame the words and a couple of snowflake brads to finish them off.

The second card is a Whipper that I had gotten last year.  I love this stamp, especially those big shoes.  I used snowflake paper as the background to keep with the theme.  He's colored with Copics.  The extra snowflakes are from a couple of years ago that are glued on for a little bling.

Now it's your turn to jump in and make a card.  Post it to the link below for all to admire.  Have fun.

  1. Cindy, thanks for hostessing a challenge for our VCMP this weekend! I love both of your cards, but your Whipper is just as cute as can be. And, look, you didn't have any problems with your post or Inlinkz - congratulations!

  2. These are both beautiful Cindy! I have to say if I'd come here and not seen a Whipper stamp I would have been a little disappointed. I don't own any and count on you to share them on your cards. Thanks for hosting a challenge this weekend. The VCMPs are so much fun!! I'll be back to link up later. :)

  15. Let's see. It's 98 degress here in Fort Worth, so maybe doing a snowflake challenge will help cool me off. I love both your cards, but I really adore the Whipper. Your layering and choice of papers are wonderful. Thanks for being part of this fun weekend.

I like your first card too, though, and I'm keeping it in mind to inspire me to make some sentiment only cards out of my hoard of snowflake paper! Have a great weekend!
