Hi all,
I have 2 cards for the Pizzaz Skip Hop.  They are both Whipper Snapper stamps, like usual, and both for Thanksgiving.  I think the reason I like Whippers so much is that they are so much fun to color.  That's my favorite part of making a card.  I love to color.  I don't do a whole lot of bling.

For the first card, I did a Cornicopia.  I mixed Copics and pencils to get the effect I wanted, especially on the apple.  I raised the colored part off of the card to give it a little dimension.

On the turkey card, I'm showcasing the coloring.  I wanted the turkey to stand out.  I do love that ribbon though.

Make sure you see all the beautiful cards on the skip.  Now hop on over to Robin's brandy new blog http://robinskiscards.blogspot.com/

  4. Two great cards Cindy! I think when you have a detailed image like these that are so beautifully colored it really becomes the "star" of the card design and you've added just enough to finish these designs without detracting from them.

  5. Very impressive coloring! I don't own a single copic (Yikes! can't believe I admitted that!) and haven't really ventured there yet, although I did buy pencils and a gamsol set, and seeing your detailed and beautiful colorings inspires me to give it a try! PS: LOVE that ribbon on the turkey card!

  7. Wonderful fall card creations. I love how you colored them and when they are colored that nicely, little bling or embellishing is really needed. Sometimes a layering will work too, which I see you used as well.
