OWH Memorial Day Bloghop

Welcome to the Memorial Day Bloghop! To go to the start of the bloghop, click here:

Sketch #69
This is the first card I made for the hop.  Not a speck of coloring.  For those of you who know me, coloring is my favorite part of the card.  It's just embossing and layering.

Sketch #50
This was actually the 2nd card I made for the hop, but it's my favorite.  It's a new stamp that I got at a scrapbooking show with Barb H and Robin M.

Sketch 21
This is the last card I made.  I had no intention on posting this one but I liked how the coloring turned out.  I used Copics and pencil.  This is a Whipper Snapper stamp.  Didn't want to disappoint anyone by not posting a Whipper.

  2. Love this card! I also pinned the embossed one!

I find that Blogger does weird things for me, too! I know how frustrating it can be!

  5. This is a great example of how you can make a really nice card even if you don't own a single marker. I applaud you for showing people they don't HAVE to be colorers or stampers to be part of the OWH cause.

  6. Cindy,

These cards are wonderful! I love the colors on the first two and your coloring is wonderful. But, I love the simple elegance of your last card. The embossing and ribbon are perfect.

BTW I had the same problem with spacing when I used the linked eagle image. So, I went back to one of the first hop e-mails and copied the image that didn't link. My spacing problem went away!

  10. This is perfect as a seasonal or Christmas card. It's the perfect layout for these embossed pieces. I still don't know which one I like the best. I'm choosing all of them as favorites since no vote was asked for.

  19. your lion card turned out very cute along with the whipper - and your embossed one is beautiful - but when you are use to one thing it is hard to see the beauty in a new style.

Isn't blogger just so fun somedays. NOT
